Sedation

Although we strive to make your visit as relaxing as possible, we do also have nitrous oxide and oral sedation available to use during your appointment if you would like.

Nitrous Oxide

Nitrous oxide is a safe form of inhaled sedation.  You stay fully conscious during your appointment but are more relaxed.  The effects wear off as soon as the sedation is stopped.  You should not use Nitrous oxide if you are pregnant or have a restrictive lung condition such as COPD or Chronic Bronchitis.

Oral Sedation

Reduce dental anxiety by using oral sedation.  This is a deeper level of conscious sedation.  Many patients sleep through their appointments but this sedation does require you to have a designated driver to take you home and monitor you after your appointment until the sedation wears off.
